If you are in one of my images and you want it removing/deleting*, let me know and it will be done *if you commissioned the image/s and I still have them.
The long story
What 'data' do I collect/store/use?
Your name, email address, postal address, contact number and photographs from your event (studio shoot, wedding, christening, party, festival, concert, show etc)
What do I do with that data?
email address - to contact you solely for the purposes of responding to your enquiry, confirming bookings, sending of electronic contracts & receipts, supply of images or image download links. I do not send marketing emails, newsletters, speculative or promotional emails.
postal address - to provide an at home consultation to you and to deliver/have delivered any physical media purchased (Prints, USB, DVD, album, canvas etc) I never attend anyone's home without it being pre arranged, whether to deliver media or for consultations
contact number - if you require me to call you, good to have in case there is a last minute issue. I don't make sales calls.
photographs - images captured on your behalf may be stored (for as long as possible, in case you need replacements, no guarantee is implied or given), edited, duplicated, posted on my Facebook business page, my website, my image sales website, Instagram, uploaded to Dropbox, placed onto USB, placed on DVD, sent to a professional print lab, used in advertising on printed material and electronic form, entered into competition or publication. You will be asked to give your written consent for each use before images are captured. Consent is separate to any contract/booking and that contract/booking is not dependant on consent being given. I do not run images through facial recognition software.
What rights do you have?
the right to be informed; the right of access; the right to rectification; the right to erasure; the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; the right to object; the right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling.
Exercising your rights?
Once you have given your consent, you may revoke that consent, completely or in part and at any time. To do this, you must be specific in which consent/s you wish to revoke and how you would like confirmation sending to you. I will comply within 30 days (as long as doing so does not reasonably conflict with my legitimate reasons for holding that data) and confirm the decision or action taken through your chosen method. Please use my contact form. Should you not be satisfied with my response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
